Reviews and Ratings
The hotel's rooms were basic but clean, although old and shabby, with ongoing reconstruction adding to a somewhat dated and damp atmosphere that was not conducive to a healthy stay. Despite encountering low beds, dusty linens, lizard droppings on the walls, malfunctioning lamps, and a shower held together with a rubber band, the service provided a ray of light with kind assistance when needed. The location on an island in the Nile offered a fantastic setting, while the dining experience had its ups and downs with a variety of cuisine but also disappointing options along the way.
Despite repeated requests for AC repairs or room change, the room was comfortable but lacked any character. The hotel's location on an island offers a stunning Nile view, making it unique. Service under Mr John's leadership was helpful, especially since check-in through check-out. The dining experience offered fresh, varied, and tasty meals with vegan options alongside local recipes.
The hotel rooms were basic and not very clean, with mosquitoes present, and they didn't match the online pictures we saw. However, the service was very helpful and cheerful, especially accommodating an early breakfast at 4 am. The location had its drawbacks, being run down with broken items in the room, but it provided a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The dining experience offered a good buffet selection and made-to-order omelettes and pancakes, though some parts were disappointing. Overall, the facilities met basic needs, and certain aspects were praiseworthy.
The hotel offers great views from the rooms, but cleanliness could be improved. The staff is friendly but encountered some unprofessional behavior. The location on a beautiful island is the standout feature, although service quality varies. Dining options are decent but could use some improvement.
Initially, the rooms were a bit dated which we gradually got used to, possibly due to the country's declining tourism. Despite some issues like low beds and dusty linen, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast area needed some improvements. However, the service was excellent, with staff making extraordinary efforts to ensure our comfort. The location by the Nile was a highlight, offering free boats 24/7 and stunning views. The dining experience was delightful with fresh and tasty options. Overall, a value-for-money stay with some room for enhancements.
The hotel offered a below-standard experience with delayed warm water in the rooms overlooking the Nile. The check-in process was unacceptably long, leaving the unprepared rooms as a disappointment. On the bright side, the staff came through with a substantial breakfast to-go when departing early at 4 am.
